About us
Our purpose is to generate commercial revenues by leveraging the ridership and assets of the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
Our objective is to enhance the user experience through various means, such as improving passenger information and creating a dynamic, user-friendly and pleasant environment.
Our diversified range of partners are active in three main areas:
Real Estate and Commercial Activities
Through their various mandates, these partners contribute to the development of a mass transit network that reflects the dynamic nature of its users and the public transit company that serves them.
Added value
Transgesco enhances the STM rider experience by means of the services provided by its partners, who allow the public transit authority to deliver:
- Better access to information about the STM, both above ground and in the métro system;
- More pleasant waiting times thanks to digital displays offering the latest news and weather, as well as real-time information on the arrival time of the next métro;
- A dynamic and convenient transit environment featuring a wide array of shops and services;
- Access to the latest technologies in the métro, such as 3G, 4G and LTE mobile networks.
Since Transgesco s.e.c. was created in 2003, commercial partnerships have led to investments of tens of millions of dollars in improvements to STM passenger services.
